What Do We Mean By Distressed???

There are many things that can create distress in life. Like divorce, death, disability or drugs, we'll also cover a few other ones as well. Here are a few situations that might ring a bell.

Divorce the one situation no one is looking forward to but it happens, it happens a lot. If there is property involved, like a house, then it probably needs to be split. That's where we can help. Some times that means to be a mediator to help or just to sell fast.

Disasters like fire, flood, or wind damage to a house. For a home owner this is the worst situation to have to deal with. If the owner has insurance most of the damages are probably covered except for those personal items. However, the stress of repairs and time may be more than the owner is ready for and just needs to sell fast.

Death is something we all have to face at some point in life. When a home owner dies there are things that need to be taken care of by the family.

Sometimes its just personal belongings, other times it's a home. There are many people that this is a huge stress for. Default/Debt the financial stress that can sometimes be very overbearing. Falling behind on mortgage, car  payment, or other large items due to outside situations like being laid-off or being involved in an accident out side of ones control.  However, in the long run it would be best to let go of the house due to the much larger payment than the other things like the car. Drugs, why drugs? We all might know of that person that made some poor choices in life after getting everything they ever thought they wanted. That poor choice being drugs and they now have to pay for that choice, possibly court ordered rehab or even time behind bars. Disabilities are their own distress; however, there are many disabled people living life to the fullest and have their own home, car, and job. Although, no matter how their disability was manifested be it from birth or from an unseen accident, time is not always on their side. They might have to be moved to a care home or even the unfavorable one, early death. An again, even with situations that can be touchy like these, we want to reduce stress and help in the transition, and yes still sell fast.
